About the Founder: Muccharla Bharat Bhushan

Certified International Mudra Therapist · Dorn Healer · Paida Lajin Facilitator · Yoga Therapist · Foot Reflexologist

“Healing begins when we start listening to our own body. My role is to help you feel better, gently and safely — and to show you how to keep that progress going.”

— Muccharla Bharat Bhushan

A multi-disciplinary approach to self-care

Muccharla Bharat Bhushan is the founder of Samanvaya Self Healing & Wellness, a practising wellness therapist, and the guiding force behind its therapies and online programs. He brings together five complementary disciplines — mudra therapy, the Dorn Method, Paida Lajin, yoga therapy and foot reflexology — into a single, calm and personal way of working. Rather than offering one technique to everyone, he draws on the approach, or combination of approaches, that best suits each person's body, routine and comfort.

That integration is the meaning behind the name he chose. Samanvaya means harmony and coordination: breath with movement, effort with rest, traditional wisdom with the realities of modern life. It is also why every Samanvaya therapy session — delivered by our therapists — ends with simple practices that people can continue at home, and why sessions are supported by a network of Ayurvedic doctors and a clinical nutritionist — so therapy, lifestyle and nutrition can work together. About our support network.

People most often come to Samanvaya for pain management — shoulder, neck, back and lower back pain, knee and ankle pain, sciatica, joint pains, migraine and headache — and for stress, sleep, digestion and lifestyle support for sugar and BP wellness goals.

Certifications and areas of practice

  • Certified International Mudra Therapist
  • Dorn Healer
  • Paida Lajin Facilitator
  • Yoga Therapist
  • Foot Reflexologist

Certified International Mudra Therapist

As a certified mudra therapist, Bharat Bhushan teaches traditional yogic hand gestures combined with slow, natural breathing. He adapts each mudra for comfort — especially for seniors with stiff fingers — and builds them into short, practical routines. This is the foundation of the Mudra Therapy sessions and the online program Healing through Mudra and Breathing.

Dorn Healer

Trained in the Dorn Method, he uses gentle, steady pressure combined with the client's own slow movements, working with the joints and spine in a non-forceful, interactive way. His Dorn Therapy sessions always begin with a careful health conversation, and he is clear about when Dorn work is not appropriate and medical evaluation is needed.

Paida Lajin Facilitator

As a Paida Lajin facilitator, he teaches the traditional practice of patting and stretching. His emphasis is on comfort-based intensity — starting light, progressing gradually and adapting for seniors or people on certain medications. Explore Paida-Lajin Therapy and the Guided Paida Lajin online program.

Yoga Therapist

His yoga therapy work is individual and supportive. Using chairs, blocks, belts, bolsters and the wall, he makes postures accessible regardless of age or flexibility, combining movement with breath awareness and supported rest. Learn more about Props-Based Yoga Therapy.

Foot Reflexologist

As a trained foot reflexologist, he offers calm, systematic hands-on sessions with pressure adjusted to each person's comfort — a deeply relaxing experience that many clients describe as grounding. See Foot Reflexology.

Who he works with

Bharat Bhushan has shaped Samanvaya's work around three groups whose daily lives place particular demands on the body and mind:

  • Desk-job professionals, for whom he designs short, desk-friendly resets and posture-awareness habits to counter long hours of sitting and screen use.
  • Students, whom he guides towards study-friendly posture, breathing routines for focus and calm, and healthy study-break habits.
  • Seniors (55+), for whom every practice is offered in a gentle, seated or supported form that respects joint comfort, balance and energy.

His way of working

Clients often describe his sessions as calm, patient and unhurried. A few principles guide every interaction:

  • Listen first. Each new client begins with a conversation about routine, comfort and health history, so practices can be chosen and adapted safely.
  • Comfort over intensity. Nothing is forced. Clients are encouraged to pause, ask questions and set their own pace.
  • Therapy plus follow-through. Every session ends with a simple routine to practise at home, because consistency matters as much as any single session.
  • Honest boundaries. He is clear that his work is complementary wellness, not medical treatment. He does not diagnose conditions, does not promise cures, and encourages clients to continue care with their doctors.

Beyond the session room

Alongside appointment-based sessions, he leads Samanvaya's online programs so that people across India can learn from home, and is preparing a series of focused webinars on pain management, knee pain, women's health, stress management, and neck and shoulder care. He also writes practical articles on the Samanvaya blog and introduces Daily Wellness Tools — such as the Vajra Asanam and Lajin Bench — that make home practice more comfortable.
