Guided Paida-Lajin Practice
A guided combination of gentle body tapping and stretching, designed to support body awareness, relaxation and everyday movement.
What is Paida-Lajin?
Paida-Lajin is a traditional self-care practice that combines two complementary elements: body tapping, known as Paida, and stretching practices known as Lajin. It is offered here as a guided wellness activity with a focus on individual comfort and safe participation.
Sessions are structured to be clear and progressive, making them accessible to adults of varying experience levels, including beginners and older participants.
Understanding Paida and Lajin
What is Paida?
Paida generally refers to the practice of controlled tapping or patting of specific areas of the body, performed as part of a guided wellness routine. During sessions, tapping is conducted with attention to individual comfort levels, appropriate pressure and safety.
Paida is practised as a movement and awareness activity and is not presented as a clinical or therapeutic procedure.
What is Lajin?
Lajin refers to guided stretching practices intended to encourage comfortable movement and flexibility. It is typically performed on a flat surface with support — such as a yoga mat or firm bed — with the guidance of the practitioner regarding positioning and duration.
Lajin sessions are adapted to individual comfort and flexibility levels, with modifications available for participants with limited mobility.
